Hello Pulaski Softball families,
We hope this finds you safe and well.
Throughout these uncertain times, our organization has remained optimistic about the potential to return to playing softball this 2020 season.
While we have been optimistic, it is equally important for our families to have a voice as we progress through making a decision about the season. Thank you to everyone who offered to us your feedback.
As a result of listening to your feedback, carefully monitoring the local & federal governments recommendations, along with maintaining health and safety of our players as the highest priority, the Pulaski Softball Organization has made a decision to cancel league play for grades 4K through 8th grade.
As for our high school league team, they will continue to play in leagues with other local communities.
While we are cancelling league play, please know we are assessing clinics to offer to our league players so there can be some participation in the game they love. Please know, these clinics may be offered once we can maintain health and safety of players. More information will be shared regarding clinics at a later date from the Pulaski Softball Organization.
The Pulaski Softball Organization has made the decision after carefully considering the local & federal governments recommendations that they will not be hosting the annual Pulaski Polka Days home tournament.
For those who have registered to play in tournaments this season, a secondary survey was distributed to seek additional information to assist the Pulaski Softball Organization in assessing possible options. As a result of listening to your feedback, the Pulaski Softball Organization has made a decision to cancel tournament teams for 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade.
The Tournament team for 7th grade is pending tournament availability for July 16-19, 2020 and more information will come out once we have more information/availability from local tournaments for this age group.
The 8th grade tournament team will be playing their two scheduled tournaments. The High School tournament teams (16U & 18U) will also play their two schedule tournaments.
If any player in 7th grade, 8th grade, or high school wants to decline continuing to play the season a request can be made to PulaskiSoftballOrganization@gmail.com for a refund.
The Pulaski Softball Organization will be working on refunds to all families who are affected by these decisions. If your daughter is playing 7th grade, 8th grade, 16U/18U league and tournament team, you will be refunded half of your registration fee.
We will continue to monitor local/state/federal guidance and reserve the opportunity to make adjustments for the 7th grade, 8th grade, and high school teams as needed.
Thank you for all your patience, support, and understanding during these uncertain times.
For those who are inquiring and/or interested in donating the season registration fee, please email us at PulaskiSoftballOrganization@gmail.com.
